The Disembodied Eye:

Prof. Liam Kelly, the author of Thinking Long and former director/curator at the Orchard Gallery, Derry and the Orpheus Gallery, Belfast, has curated, this, the third instalment of the Golden Thread Gallery's Collective Histories series.

As suggested by the title, The Disembodied Eye, Kelly has employed the theme of ‘surveillance' in Northern Ireland as a central concern. Through the exhibition he illustrates how a generation of artists have responded to the specifics of a “marked, segregated and intensively surveilled” place.
